Shoruq’s Socio-Legal Program was found in 2014, primarily for the purpose of serving children in conflict with Palestinian law. The program was established after Shoruq Organization had conducted a needs-study in 2013, in cooperation with the International Child Rights Network (CRIN); the results of which manifested the necessity of creating a program that serves refugee children who are in conflict with the law of the Palestinian Authority in the Bethlehem Governorate.
