As part of ongoing efforts to build safer and more supportive communities, Shoruq Organization, in partnership with SOS Children's Villages - Palestine, successfully conducted an awareness-raising activity targeting a group of children in the village of Wadi Fukin. This initiative aligns with both organizations' shared commitment to fostering a safe, protective, and empowering environment for children and women within the community. 💡 Key Focus Areas of the Activity: The session witnessed great engagement from the participating children and covered several vital themes aimed at raising awareness and building capacity, including: Child Protection Policies: Educating children on the frameworks and measures that ensure their safety and security. Prevention & Response: Raising awareness on protection mechanisms and responding effectively to gender-based violence (GBV). Child Rights: Emphasizing fundamental child rights and the crucial importance of promoting and safeguarding them at both the family and community levels.
