Position: Media Officer
Location: Bethlehem, Shoruq Organization
Type of Contract: Part-time job

Job Description:
Film, edit and making videos covering the refugee’s issues
Give media and film training for children and youth affiliated to Shoruq organization.
Generate and edit the design of corporate documents and reports
Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
Collaborate with the art department to record songs and music in Shoruq Sound studio
Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
Maintain good communication with partners in technical means of media
Cover and document all organization activities and events, by filming, news and photos.
Coordinate media programs and trainings in the media center.
Develop a media strategy to increase visibility, membership and traffic across the platforms knowledge, particularly the Civil Society Hub and action plan to guide its implementation.
Qualifications:
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo /text), presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent sound recording and sound editing skills.
- Excellent videography (filming, editing and infographic) skills.
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Strong command of the English language and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, film studies or a related field.
- At least two years of similar work experience is required.
- Candidate should be able to work independently – with minimum supervision and guidance from supervisors. Demonstrated and extensive
- Knowledge in Palestinian Civil society and Human Rights;
- High Integrity/ethics, and the ability to meet the deadlines
