Shorouq organization Holds Internal Chess Championship for Children
shoruq organized an internal chess championship for children enrolled in its chess program, with the attendance of parents and members of the Foundation’s staff. The event was held as part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to developing children's cognitive abilities, enhancing critical thinking, and encouraging strategic skills.
The championship concluded with the following winners:
1st Place: Taym Al-Banna
2nd Place: Ismail Muzaher
3rd Place: Mohammad Jawabra
4th Place: Khalil Al-Anati
5th Place: Lin Qaraqa
In recognition of his outstanding dedication, the Foundation extended its sincere appreciation to the esteemed coach, Fadi Qassis, for his continuous efforts in training the children, supporting their progress, and developing their chess skills.
At the closing ceremony, the Shorouq Foundation, represented by Ms. Ayat Abu Nassar, together with coach Fadi Qassis, presented awards to the winners as well as symbolic gifts to all participants in appreciation of their efforts and to encourage them to continue developing their talents.
The Foundation’s Director reaffirmed Shoruq commitment to providing ongoing chess training and empowerment opportunities for children, highlighting the important role of chess in developing critical thinking, building character, and fostering a positive spirit of challenge and achievement.
