Shoruq Organization Organises Free Medical Day for Dheisheh Refugee Camp Residents in Partnership with Aida Youth Center
As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening community healthcare and improving access to essential medical services for vulnerable communities, **Shoruq Organization**, in partnership with Aida Youth Center, organised a free medical day at Dheisheh Refugee Camp in collaboration with a team of volunteer South Korean doctors from **IACD**.
The initiative attracted a large number of camp residents, who benefited from a range of healthcare services, including general medical examinations, health consultations, and physiotherapy sessions. The medical team also provided preventive health guidance and medical advice aimed at raising public health awareness and encouraging healthy practices within the community.
Throughout the event, the volunteer medical team worked to deliver high-quality healthcare services in an organised and welcoming environment, ensuring that as many beneficiaries as possible received the medical attention and care they needed. The initiative reflected the spirit of humanitarian cooperation and the shared commitment of all partners to serving the local community.
In addition to the medical services, the event included recreational activities for children, creating a joyful atmosphere and providing psychosocial support through games and interactive activities that brought smiles to young participants and encouraged community engagement.
This initiative forms part of **Shoruq Organization's** broader efforts, implemented in cooperation with local and international partners, to promote community health, expand access to quality healthcare services, and strengthen collaboration in support of the Palestinian community. Through such initiatives, the organisation continues to contribute to improving quality of life while fostering the values of solidarity, volunteerism, and sustainable community development.
